The AFPMAR standard includes two elements:

1 – A table of criteria with the controls carried out by the State services, which are the only bodies authorised to carry out these controls in the field during the fishing season or at the wholesalers who store the fish and transport it to the end user.

It should be noted that there is no other organisation authorised to carry out the controls required to ensure the legality of fishing, transport and fish merchandising, as well as the traceability of products from capture to the end user for restocking or consumption. 2 – A guarantee certificate showing the number of the operator who catches or sells the glass eel or yellow and silver eels. The quality of the individuals is guaranteed by the wholesaler affiliated to the AFPMAR. Warranty certificate – Anguille Responsable
